Historic South Downtown is a state-created agency that exists to mitigate the impact of large, public projects on the two historic neighborhoods of south downtown Seattle. Our work is exclusively focused on Pioneer Square and Chinatown-International District. Each fall, a portion of our Board members are elected for 2 two-year terms. On November 13, 2019, we will vote on six seats, three of which will be vacant and three of which will have incumbents running for re-election. A list of current board members and their seats is found at http://www.historicsouthdowntown.org/about/board/.
Qualified members of the south downtown Seattle community are encouraged to consider serving on the Historic South Downtown board of directors. Interested persons can submit this application or questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please submit your application no later than 5 PM on October 13, 2019, so that you can be included on the ballot.
