Submit questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Can my organization seek funding from both priority areas? Answer: No, unfortunately we are unable to allow more than one application per organization.
Q: Is there a deadline? Answer: The application period will remain open for three months. Submit your application when it is ready. Our Community Review Panel will review each application as received and you will hear back within three weeks.
Q: Will you grant funds to a nonprofit that is located in Pioneer Square but that has an impact on communities throughout northwestern Washington? Answer: Thank you for your question. Our funding is restricted in that it must benefit the communities of Pioneer Square and Chinatown-International District. If your agency has a broader reach you are welcome to apply, and your answers should show how you will ensure the funding we provide reaches the intended beneficiaries.
Q: Is there a place to see all the questions on the application at once without having to scroll through the online application question-by-question? Answer: You can access a PDF document of the questions here. This link is also available on the RFP page of this website.
Q: Do businesses need to be certified as Minority or Women Owned to receive support under this grant? Answer: No, qualifying as an MWBE is ONE way to be eligible under this grant, which uses the definition of small business included by RCW 39.26.010 (22). Applicants should read the RFP for the full definition of small business.
